April was quite a month. For one, I got married! It turns out there’s quite a bit involved with setting up your own wedding, including baking your own cake, building and setting up your own decorations, and troubleshooting your own PA system, to name a few. Needless to say, the joys and stresses that came from planning and pulling off our wedding (in the midst of an intense stretch of television) did not leave ample time for reading.
Best April Book: The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene – An impressive synthesis of power throughout history that is vital and applicable today. Of particular note – how to deal with those immediately above and below you in your workplace.
